What brought you to Siloam?  I first became aware of Siloam through our church (First Presbyterian Church, Nashville) which helps support the mission. As I recall, a staff member made a presentation at a mission fair at FPC. I wanted to help other than just making a donation, but my nursing license had lapsed. In the Siloam newsletter Mark McCaw advertised for someone to run errands around town, and I thought I could do that. So when Siloam was located at the 12th Avenue location, I made trips twice a month to Wal-Mart for toilet paper, paper towels, soft drinks, roach motels, light bulbs, and anything else that was needed. I have also gone for office supplies, taken equipment to be repaired, and picked up materials from the printer. In 2006 I renewed my nursing license, and I began volunteering as a nurse in 2007.

What keeps you coming back? The people! Patients, staff and volunteers are all thankful
for the services provided and received, and they share this with everyone around them. God’s grace and glory abound.
