“What
brought you to Siloam?”
 |
| Name:
Betty Zygmuntowicz
Relationship:
Neighbor
Role
at Clinic: Volunteer Extraordinaire
Volunteering
since: Officially in July 2002
|
“Well,
I live right above the clinic and I started out by contributing some things
that I thought people could use. I wasn’t working and volunteering seemed
like a good thing to do.”
“What
keeps you coming back?”
With
a chuckle Betty replies, “Trash. I take the trash out every day and I
help get the charts ready for the next clinic session. You get a solid
foundation in here of Christianity. The people are nice and it is an opportunity
for me to be productive. I feel like I’m part of the team.”
