What brought you to Siloam?
I decided to volunteer at Siloam as part of my Lenten
discipline. I felt that the human contact at Siloam would give me a greater
understanding of how God uses people to share His love. I wanted to practice
my faith through building relationships with each others because I think
that is how God manifests himself to us.
What keeps you coming back?
Siloam is very effective in delivering services.
Patients come and get their needs met and they leave-no hassles. Its
an immediate reward for me to see that people can be taken care of so
effectively. I get more than I give. I can be dead-dog-tired at work and
I think of calling and canceling but I know when I get there Ill
be energized. The other volunteers must be as tired as I am but there
is so much energy present that you can never tell we are tired.
