What brought you to Siloam?

"I had volunteered at Siloam on a limited basis several years ago and just forgot about it until representatives from Siloam made a presentation to my church’s outreach committee. That contact rekindled my interest. I had been looking for an opportunity to recover my nursing skills and I also wanted to practice my Spanish ... volunteering at Siloam provides the perfect blend."

What keeps you coming back?

"It’s a total treat to work with the exceptional staff - to be with people who pray over the clinic. The people who come through the doors are so easy to love and be around. It’s fun to see people from other cultures, too. It’s a different sort of clinic that allows you to take time to be with people - not the usual hustle and bustle."
